Welcome to Total Recall
Total Recall was established in May of 2000 by its current owner, David B Hockenberry who having retired from the Pennsylvania State Police saw a need for professional unbiased Collision Analysis and Reconstruction of motor vehicle collisions. During his 25 plus years as a Pennsylvania State Trooper he investigated over 1000 collisions of all types and severity. He sought out and received all the available training in the field of Accident Reconstruction and Investigation becoming one of the first group of C.A.R.S. (Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Specialist) personnel with a full time assignment. Since his retirement he has continued to obtain training to stay current with the field and has investigated or reconstructed over 250 collisions, including passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and commercial vehicles.
The mission of Total Recall is to provide a professional unbiased investigation / review of all the available facts including police reports, photographs, statements, depositions, medical reports and to provide the client with an opinion as to the circumstances surrounding a particular collision. When requested or necessary scaled scene maps, vehicle inspections, photographs, witness interviews, interviews of involved parties, police interviews and consultation with other experts are all part of the process. Additionally expert testimony is provided when needed having been recognized throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland as an expert in Traffic Accident
Reconstruction. David B Hockenberry has been certified by A.C.T.A.R. (Accredation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction) since 1996. Additionally Total Recall is a licenced Private Detective Agency and is fully insured and bonded.
